Fully Automated HbA1c Analyzer HPLC Method Best Performance CV<2% Stable And Efficient

Intended use

The Fully Automated HbA1c Analyzer is used in conjunction with suitable reagents for the quantitative detection of glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) in human blood.
HPLC Methodology

Using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), the stationary phase used is a weakly acidic cation exchanger.

Glycosylation of hemoglobin results in a loss of surface cations that are uncharged, and non-glycosylated hemoglobin is positively charged.

According to the different charged properties of hemoglobin, several hemoglobin components including HbA1c were separated by high performance liquid chromatography using cleaning solutions of different pH values and ionic strengths.

Each component is detected by a single wavelength colorimeter, and the data is processed by a microcomputer to calculate the percentage content of HbA1c in the total hemoglobin.
